2026 Scottish Club Championship - SANACC

The Scottish Club Championship heat on Saturday 3oth May 2026 was held on a wet night.  Nine teams took part and the 27 anglers caught a total of 107 fish.  The top club on the night was Snowbee Albacats "B" represented by Mark Fleming (3 fish),  Gregor Fleming (16 fish) and Joseph Wood (12 fish) with a total of 30 fish for 59lb 8.2oz.  The team received vouchers for £30 provided by My Fishing Flies and a voucher for £30 provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific.  In second place with 17 fish for 34lb 7.5oz was West Linton AC "A" represented by George Charters (4 fish), Mike Devenney (4 fish) and Gordon Leavy (9 fish).    Drumbowie FF "A" represented by John Logan (8 fish), Peter Thomson (2 fish) and Graeme Frew (1 fish) were third with 11 fish for 24 lb 15.7oz and Lintrathen FF  "A" represented by Neil Anderson (6 fish), Alan Ramshaw (4 fish) and Frank Ross (2 fish) were fourth with 12 fish for 24lb 7.9oz.

The Scottish Club Championship heat on Saturday 23rd May 2026 had eight teams and the 23 anglers caught a total of 83 fish.  The top club on the night was Dalzell AC "A" represented by Jim Jack (3 fish),  Eddie Brophy (10 fish) and Jim Donnelly (10 fish) with a total of 23 fish for 47lb 2.1oz.  The team received vouchers for £30 provided by My Fishing Flies and a voucher for £30 provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific.  In second place with 16 fish for 33lb 13.9oz was Bridge of Allan 76 AC "A" represented by Alex Galloway (5 fish), Peter Shepherd (8 fish) and Bill McIlquham(3 fish).    Arbroath AC "A" represented by Scott Reith (9 fish),  George Gall (1 fish) and Charlie Walls (5 fish) were third with 15 fish for 29 lb 14oz and Dunfermline Artisan "A" represented by David Giibb, Davie Moore(7 fish)  and Stevie Hayhurst (2 fish) were fourth with 9 fish for 17lb 14.3oz.

The Scottish Club Championship heats continued on Saturday 16th May 2026.  The 30 anglers caught a total of 73 fish.  The top club on the night was Snowbee Albacat s "A" represented by Jim Mckinlay (6 fish), Strevie Welsh (2 fish) and Darren Heenan (11 fish) with a total of 24 fish for 49lb 4.4oz.  The team received vouchers for £30 provided by My Fishing Flies and a voucher for £30 provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific.  In second place with 9 fish for 18lb 12.2oz was East Coats FF "A" represented by Colin Sharp (4 fish), Lee Anderson (3 fish) and Ronnie Couper(2 fish).    Figgate AC "A" represented by Jimmy Walker (5 fish),  Neil Picken (3 fish) and Brian Clifton (1 fish) were third with 9 fish for 17 lb 6.1oz and West Lothian FD "A" represented by Fergus Aitchison(6 fish), John Prentice(1 fish)  and Wayne Cram were fourth with 7 fish for 14lb 7oz.B

The Scottish Club Championship heats started on Saturday 9th May 2026.  The 24 anglers caught a total of 86 fish.  The top club on the night was Firecats FF "A" represented by Calum Clark (10 fish), Kenni Hope (6 fish) and Campbell Cree (8 fish) with a total of 24 fish for 49lb 4.4oz.  The team received vouchers for £30 provided by My Fishing Flies.  In second place with 13 fish for 28lb 10.2oz was Strathgryfe AA "A" represented by Andrew Durk (9 fish), Kenny Finlayson (3 fish) and Ian Gorrie (1 fish).    Heriot AC "A" represented by Jimmy McBride  (4 fish),  Keith Logan (8 fish) and Darrell Young (1 fish) were third with 13 fish for 27 lb 2oz and Thalassa AC "A" represented by Greig Davie (8 fish), Stevie Nicol (2 fish) and Scott Millar (3 fish) were fourth with 13 fish for 26lb 10.10oz.
